† Not all people who strive for and get high grades are grade grubbers, and not all people would understand that those who they call as such, try to be the best as they can be not to impress others but simply to give gratitude to the ones who are responsible for giving them the opportunity to have the best education that many others lack. It’s pathetic how other people pick on those “achievers”, that instead of supporting them and take them as an inspiration, they would rather do the opposite and say “Yeah, s/he’s good, but I bet s/he can’t do much in the real world.” Hey, isn’t this the real thing? Besides, who are you to say that? Are you even, for the least, trying to do your part as well? Why can’t you just be happy for them, stop blabbering, and might as well as start to prove yourself that you can also be the best now, and in the “real world”. Isn’t that nice? †
